Prashant is the founder and CEO of InfraSure, a specialty insurance company that makes energy infrastructure bankable and resilient. Over his 25-year career, he led investment teams at prominent firms such as Macquarie, Citadel, and Blue Owl Capital, deploying over $20 billion in equity and debt capital into infrastructure assets. As a Venture Partner at Urban Us, he worked with startups to finance the commercialization of climate-adaptive technologies. Earlier in his career, he advised Fortune 500 companies on valuation, M&A, and risk management at Booz Allen Hamilton and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Before his career in finance, Prashant was an engineer and oceanographer. He conducted NOAA/NSF-funded research on air-sea interaction and developed a wave-powered seawater pump for aquaculture. He enjoys skiing and cooking with his wife and two children, and he resides in Brooklyn.
