Ofer Haiat

Ofer Haiat is a finance and energy sector leader with over two decades of experience driving growth and innovation in renewables and clean energy. As CFO & Head of S&B US Energy, he oversees strategy, capital formation, project development, and operations across large-scale US energy and infrastructure assets. Previously, as CFO of Viridity Energy Solutions (an Ormat Technologies subsidiary), Ofer built the U.S. energy storage business from the ground up — scaling a 1.5 GW portfolio and shepherding multiple storage and battery projects into commercial operation. His earlier work includes senior roles at Ormat Technologies and Israel Natural Gas Lines. Ofer holds an MBA in Finance from Heriot-Watt University and is a CPA (IL).
