Leesa Nayudu is a seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience in the electric power industry. She has successfully originated hundreds of megawatts (MW) of energy, capacity, and energy storage contracts, both as a seller and a buyer. Leesa’s expertise spans renewable energy projects, power plant operations, power dispatch and reliability, power marketing, contract origination, negotiation, administration, resource planning and analytics, and transmission. She has a thorough understanding of U.S. electric power markets, with extensive experience in California, the desert Southwest, the Pacific Northwest, and the Rocky Mountain regions. Recently, she has focused on hybrid solar plus battery energy storage projects and standalone storage. Leesa has also originated and negotiated renewable energy transactions in SPP, SERC, and ERCOT. She is Senior Director of Power Marketing and Origination for the western US. She holds an Executive MBA from the University of Washington and a BS in Technology & Engineering Management from City University.
