Jason Segal

Mr. Segal oversees all aspects of Javelin’s business with a focus on our global merchant banking activities. He has represented asset managers, corporations, project developers, institutional investors and DFIs/governments on dozens of buy and sell side investment banking transactions in the low carbon value chains.

Prior to Javelin, Jason founded and managed the Americas practice for Sustainable Development Capital LLP, an environmentally focused specialist financial advisory and investment firm. Mr. Segal was previously a Managing Director at Citigroup, a Managing Director Nikko Citigroup’s Equities Division in Tokyo, and a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Goldman Sachs Asset Management in New York. Mr. Segal earned an MBA from Wharton and a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University. He holds Series 24, 63, and 7 securities licenses and is proficient in Spanish and Japanese.
