David Droz is Director of Energy Storage Implementation at Exus Renewables North America. A mechanical engineer by training, he specializes in the technical, commercial, and operational challenges of developing, building, and operating utility-scale battery energy storage projects.
Prior to joining Exus, David managed energy storage development at Enel X, including delivery of New York City’s first microgrid and, at the time, its largest battery storage system. His career spans more than 15 years across clean energy, manufacturing, and aerospace, with experience in project management, business development, mechanical design, and operations. David holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Aerospace from Drexel University and was a Stein Fellow at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
