Jacob has an extensive background in North American power markets, having originated and structured over 2 GW of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage transactions across every US RTO/ISO. His previous roles included vice president of power marketing at GridStor and vice president of the sustainable investing group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, as well as origination and structuring roles at Recurrent Energy and EDP Renewables. Jacob holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin and is a CFA charter holder. He also happens to be a Jiu-Jitsu purple belt and a dungeon master.
