Hema Gupta is Vice President of Supply Chain at BrightNight, where she leads procurement, strategic sourcing, and commercial execution for the company’s utility-scale solar and battery energy storage portfolio. She oversees sourcing strategy for key equipment including modules, inverters, transformers, and energy storage systems, ensuring cost, schedule, and supply security across large-scale projects.
She partners across development, engineering, construction, finance, tax, and legal teams to align supply chain strategy with project execution and commercial outcomes. Her work includes supplier negotiations, long-term capacity planning, contract strategy, and trade and tariff risk mitigation in a rapidly evolving global market.
Prior to BrightNight, Hema served as Senior Director of Supply Chain & Commercial Strategy at Onyx Renewable Partners, where she led sourcing and supplier partnerships for solar and energy storage projects across the U.S.
Earlier in her career, she held roles in power generation at Entergy, supporting nuclear, combined-cycle, and decommissioning operations, and worked in EV innovation at Key String Labs. She also brings early exposure to global trade through her family’s import-export business, Logiship. Hema is passionate about building resilient, value-driven supply chains that enable the clean energy.
