Raj oversees Sugar Creek’s renewable energy business. He enjoys building deep relationships with developers and identifying promising new projects to invest in.
Prior to joining Sugar Creek, Raj was a Senior Director of M&A and Strategy at SunPower. He has ten years of renewable energy experience, holding M&A and structured finance positions at Franklin Park and SunEdison. Raj has led numerous investments in the distributed solar, utility scale solar, wind, and battery storage sectors. Before entering the energy industry, Raj spent five years in investment banking and other finance roles, including at Credit Suisse and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Raj holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He lives in Los Angeles, CA.
Raj enjoys playing and watching tennis and pickleball with his family.
